Fantastic and fun statement piece three-dimensional brooch from Christian Dior, produced while Gianfranco Ferre was Creative director. It is a wonder of construction, in silver tone, and in the shape of a beetle, with six legs, a domed ladder work body and a head with large clear cabochon eyes. The entire body, head and half of each leg are covered in small clear rhinestones - an amazing effect! The workmanship is superb. C clasp.

Signed on reverse of head part of brooch. From 1989-96.
